Jan 11th 2023 - What better place than......?

...the practice of an independent optometrist to display the marvelous optical properties of the Practical Hat Opera Glasses. Head on down to the premises of Dr Valarie Jerome in Newbury, UK to see this highly-practical device in its element.


May 1st 2022 - Well, we warned you: the 'stealth' has arrived!

With all the barmy nonsense going on in the world today, here's something that could have changed the course of history had it been implemented all those years ago. This machine will allow you to spy on your neighbours (near and far) unseen from a great height! March 21st 2022 - Tetbury Market House

The beautiful and historic Market House (1655) in Tetbury, Gloucestershire will be the venue again for another exhibition by the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen towards the end of May 2022, in which Nigel Williams will be taking part. February 24th 2022 - You have been warned....

January 25th 2022 - Montpellier Gallery

The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen are opening a new shop & gallery in the Montpellier district in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on 11th March 2022.  Contributions from Nigel Williams will include Flickendorfer's Celebrated Tea Refinery and the Practical Hat Opera Glasses, for those that need their tea processed in a hurry, or have been having trouble with tall hats in the theatre. The Oxford Sculptors Group is running its exhibition at Spetchley Park Gardens Exhibition in Worcestershire for the third year on the trot in August/September 2021, and Nigel Williams will be participating. First opportunity to exhibit with the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen commences on the 1st October 2020. Three works will be on display in their gallery in Cheltenham. More information can be found on the Guild website.

June 29th 2020 - Spetchley Park Gardens Exhibition

As everybody knows, 2020 has been a blank year with regard to exhibitions, but the Oxford Sculptors Group has managed to proceed with its planned exhibition at Spetchley Park Gardens near Worcester in August and September, at which Nigel Williams will be exhibiting three works. May 18th 2020 - Those mean old brewers!

In the continuing fight to improve the domestic lot of the wealthy Edwardian, this latest machine targets three sets of unscrupulous tradesmen in one hit! October 15th 2019 - The what (??) is defeated!

Well, this time we haven't got a clue who's fighting who, or for what. April 29th 2019 - The chimney is defeated!

The fight against unjustified reductions in the income of wealthy persons continues! Now it's moved up a step to combat untrustworthy tradesmen! Now there is a machine to automatically remove undesired substances from your chimneys - it's called The "Novel Lupine Chimney Evacuator"! Full details can be found here.

August 16th 2018 - The garden is defeated!

Another milestone in the fight against domestic staff has been completed - it'll be moving menacingly around a garden near you soon. It's called The Edwin Budding Auto-Gardener - it is designed to mow your grass and trim your hedges without human intervention (other than to fill it with water and rocket fuel....). March 1st 2018 - Arts & Crafts wonder

Nigel Williams is honoured to have been invited to take part in an exhibition of sculpture held as part of their 'Crafts Alive' event by the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen at Rodmarton Manor, that pinnacle of Cotswolds Arts & Crafts architecture and craftsmanship. February 2nd 2018 - The Pineapple has emerged

The giant copper pineapple, a commission for Nigel Williams from a private client (and many months in the making!), has been completed, and permanently installed in woodland on the clients premises. For more details, click here.

 

May 26th 2017 - The view from the escarpment

Nigel Williams is taking part in the Oxford Sculptors Group exhibition at Kiftsgate Court Gardens in Glucestershire, UK from the 19th August to 6th September 2017. For more details see the exhibitions page.

 

February 15th 2017 - In it's element...

Steam-age sculpture will be displayed in a "Steam Cathedral"! Nigel Williams has been invited to put on an exhibition at Kempton Steam Museum in London, UK in September 2017. The museum is the home of the world's largest working triple-expansion steam engine - awesome! Can't think of a more suitable venue for this sculpture! For more details see the exhibitions page.

 

March 31st 2016 - Another giant "K-scopes" exhibition

Nigel Williams has been invited to put on an exhibition of his "K-scopes" project within the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre Hospital in Oxford, UK during Nov/Dec 2016, and into Jan 2017. Twenty-five large 40" x 30" prints will be spread around the walls of this modern hospital. For more details see the exhibitions page.
